Side mirror glass by car model

Broken or cracked mirror glass is a safety issue and a reason for a fine. Replacing the glass itself is much cheaper than replacing the entire mirror and in most cases can be done in minutes, without tools.

At Autoport.bg there are over 1100 mirror glasses for cars, vans and trucks - for left and right sides, with a base (plastic backing) for direct installation.

How to choose the right glass

Pay attention to four things: country (left - driver's, right - passenger), preheating (whether the mirror has a heater - there are two contacts on the glass), glass type (flat, convex or aspherical with a dividing line) and years of production, because on a model, the mirrors are often changed during a facelift.

Installation

In most cars, the old glass is removed by gently pressing on the top or bottom edge, and the new glass is pressed with the palm of your hand in the center until it clicks. For heated windows, remember to connect the two contacts. Use gloves if the old glass is broken.

If you are also updating the appearance of the car, take a look at the windshields и the wipers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the glass have a base?

Yes, the glasses are supplied with a plastic base unless otherwise explicitly stated in the description.

How do I know if my mirror is heated?

Look behind the old glass - if there is heating, there are two wires with contacts. Often there is also a symbol for heating on the mirror itself.

Is the left window different from the right window?

Yes. Usually the left (driver's) lens is aspherical and the right lens is convex, so they are ordered separately.
