AdBlue - fluid for diesel engines with SCR system

AdBlue is an aqueous solution of urea (32.5 %) that is injected into the exhaust system of modern diesel cars and converts harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) into water and nitrogen. Without AdBlue, a car with an SCR system cannot be started after the tank is empty.

How to top up AdBlue

The AdBlue tank filler neck is usually next to the fuel tank (with a blue cap) or in the boot. Fill carefully - AdBlue should not get into the fuel tank. If it spills, wipe it off with water.

Storage

Store AdBlue in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, at a temperature of -11 to +25 °C. At low temperatures, the liquid freezes, but after thawing it can be used.
