Rare VW Phaeton W12 with only 36,600 km is looking for a new owner
The flagship with which Volkswagen wanted to compete against the S-Class and the 7 Series is today a real find for connoisseurs.
The Phaeton appeared in 2002 as Wolfsburg's most ambitious project - a limousine that was supposed to surpass everything the brand had done before in terms of technology and craftsmanship. The top of the range was the W12 version.
Under the hood is a 6-liter twelve-cylinder engine with 450 hp, and the power reaches all four wheels through an automatic transmission. When new, the car cost over 150,000 euros.
Now, a black 2006 model with only about 36,600 kilometers on the clock is up for sale in Berlin. It's priced at 33,900 euros - a sum that sounds tempting for a limousine of this class, but owners know that maintaining a W12 requires attention and a budget.
If you maintain an older, high-end car, regularly changing the oil, filters, and wipers is the cheapest insurance against expensive repairs.
