Description
The kit is designed to clean your K&N air filter when it is time for service. It contains a cleaning spray and oil. They will restore the efficiency of the airflow. It works to dissolve dirt and old filter oil, then washes off with water. Once completely dry, re-moisten it with the special oil and reinstall it.
K&N Filter Cleaning Kit restores them to like-new condition. Removes road grime, exhaust fumes and grease. The only cleaner specifically formulated for KN cotton filters.
Servicing your K&N sport filter is easy in four steps:
1. Spray K&N Air Cleaner on both sides of the filter and let it soak for 10 minutes to break down dirt. Do not allow the cleaning fluid to dry on the treated surface.
2. Rinse with cold water at low pressure to wash away dirt until all traces of detergent are gone. You may need to repeat steps 1 and 2.
3. After rinsing, gently shake off the water and allow it to dry naturally. Do not apply oil, completely dry.
4. Spray with K&N Air Filter Oil, achieving an even red color in all areas. Allow to soak in for 20-30 minutes.
