ELF EVOLUTION FULL-TECH PCX 0W-30

What does viscosity 0W-30 mean?

The designation 0W-30 is according to the SAE J300 classification. The number 0 before the letter W indicates how easily the oil flows in the cold. The lower it is, the faster the oil reaches all parts of the engine during a cold start. The number 30 describes the viscosity at an operating temperature of about 100 °C. This is one of the most common viscosities for modern gasoline and diesel engines, including those with extended drain intervals.

Useful tips for choosing and replacing

Before purchasing, check the owner's manual for the required viscosity and manufacturer's approval. A 5-liter container is usually enough for a complete oil change in most passenger cars. Change the oil together with the oil filter and follow the recommended interval.
